I read my nephew's school report today - sparkling and positive - although the teachers have high expectations of him - ie, and I quote "E finds the subject difficult, which is reflected by his grade B" and " E's grade was disappointing and he needs to work a bit harder to reach his potential" - He got an A!!!!! Bloody Hell! High standards. It was a good report though.
The highlight for me however was a sheet from Personal Education that E had to fill in himself - with the teachers bit tagged on at the end. It was a question and answer sheet - one question asked E to write a sentence on the short and long term effects of an unhealthy lifestyle. His answer?
"The affect of an unhealthy lifestyle; in the short term you become unhealthy, in the long term you are dead."
Gotta love that boy.

Also gotta love my flist! Congratulations on you Paula Wilshe 'finalists'!! So much talent - which of course I knew anyway. Congratulations and good luck to you all - now I've got me some rereading and deciding to do - such an unpleasant task :p
