Made Torchwood seem deep, well-written, meaningful and brilliant.

aka: what the hell?

And I know I'm a slasher, but the Doctor weeping over The Master, the person who'd tortured him for over a year, destroyed the earth and killed millions - was a hell of a lot more convincing than today's shenanigans.

Still loving Donna though.

(I'm not really "infuriated" I just liked the pic!)

Yeah...I didn't care too much for the 'dying scene' On the whole I was pretty disappointed with the episode, seemed kinda pointless.
But I did like Martha in it and I'm still loving Donna too.

I found Martha quite ifficult to like in this episode, but then, although never being a 'hater' she was never my favourite companion. RTD does seem to be trying to make us worship her.

Poop, hope it gets better soon!

I loved the last double-parter, but this one seemed ridiculous, and half way through I got bored and distracted by YouTube... which doesn't happen all that often. I hate that there's some random blond Mary Sue wondering around the galaxy who's supposed to be the Doc's daughter.

I didn't like the two parter that much, but this episode made that one look sparkly bright.

The whole thing was supremely rushed and the bland blond was just one dimensional and so inanely chirpy it was embarassing.

And she's not his daughter. some sort of clone maybe, bt pah.

So...I'm all for the New Who bringing up connections to the Old Who (yes, he was a father before, a grandfather even...speak out!) but the addition of the new canon, the fact that "oh, yes, the Doctor now has a daughter out wandering amongst the stars that he doesn't know is still alive" is just...umm, not so good? Also, 10th Doctor is WAY overly emotional compared to the former incarnations. I know that all the Doctors are different (some jovial, some dark, etc) and I've been through most of them, but I never thought I'd quite see EmoDarkDoctor as an incarnation.

I'm not familiar with Old Who canon (I just used to hide when Tom Baker was he), and I've a soft spot for DTennant, but he does seem to be getting more and more hyper emotional as each week goes by. More of a caricature every time.

The whole process of dismissing to adoring to weeping over his daughter took place over what? a couple of hours? It might have been believable if she had been even slightly rounded out and well written.

So not impressed!
