Hallo.

I has internet, but it is rubbish.

In other news, I quite liked Doctor Who this week, and SPN was also of the good. Primarily for the same reason :p

I can also enthuse about two books The Boy I Love by Marion Husband and the sequel Paper Moon The first set immediately in the aftermath of WW1 and the latter following WW2, but with characters and themes in common. I've a weakness for novels in such settings, but with some Daddy issues thrown in amongst the angst and discomfort, well, I thoroughly enjoyed these. The only shame is that reading the second, I still had a much greater concern and care for the characters from the first than those that were supposed to be in main focus; but that's probably just me refusing to let go!

Watched the second and third in the Ocean's.... trilogy over the weekend, initially only watched for SC, but they were fun too.

I am two episodes behind on SPN. There was a really lacklustre episode there and after this lacklustre season I just can't seem to bring myself to watch them. Maybe I'll take them away with me to Sydney next month, I'll have a month of nights in a hotel with very little to do apart from read and watch.

You've read the Regeneration trilogy, haven't you? I'm sure we've discussed them before but just in case - WW1 setting, historical fiction, TEH GHEY...

I love the entire Ocean's trilogy. The first is the best, but two is almost as good and three...three is fun to watch if only because they obviously had such a blast making it. Aside from Scotty (the constant bickering with Casey Affleck is hilarious) we have George Clooney and Brad Pitt being slashy as hell and Vincent Cassell being gorgeous and limber and French in the second :)

I read "The Boy I Love" and I liked it a lot! Need to read "Paper Moon" as well...
