Naart 8

I'd forgotton how great it was not to have to worry about the outcome - just to play and see how it goes - I love Naart!

These are representative of the tower of little dishes in my cupboard in my kitchen. The colours aren't quite as vivid - in real life they're more ice creamy - The blue is the nearest - I'd worked out out a little better how to mix the colours by the time I got to the blue - the others are a little too deep - nonetheless...





nb in the truest sense of the word I may not actually *be* artistic - but Hell, I'm prepared to lie if it lets me look at Starsky's bum!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude! I love these so much, I love the colours, and the way you've shaded them, and the white chalky bits and how they really look like they're balancing inside each other which is tricksy and you are totally very artistic but even if you're not then I agree that starsky's bottom is a great reason to pretend to be and I love this picture quite a lot:):):):):):) x

I really like this. The colors are wonderful and it very much looks like bowls sitting inside each other. Are you finished or are you going to do more?

And I hope you do more...Starsky's butt is great motivation :)

heh - naarmamo is a community set up to mirror the concept behind NaNoWriMo - and embraces the idea of creating a piece of art every day for the month of August - it's about the act of creating the art as opposed to the idea of perfection or beauty (though of course, some people create some lovely things). For me it's just the fun and freedom of trying and not worrying about failure - I'm not an artist, but it's nice to have a go!

I shall continue to do something every day - with no doubt varying degrees of success - everything gets posted on the naarmamo community, they just leak onto here every now and then (when the urge for Starsky's but becomes strong!!)
