wow.

Just. Wow.

My heart is breaking just a little bit.

So intense. Just. oh. ok, so I may need to come back to this and write something that, you know, has proper words.

Just at the minute?

It still knocked my socks off though!



Okay - so first of all - it was the last one. Whilst my flist may sigh a huge sigh of relief at this - and I know, going through 90 odd episodes with me in around 45 days is above and beyond - I quiver slightly at the loss. I kinda tried to cut the out and out gushing..
anyway.
Sweet Revenge. This truly did knock my socks off. I really like PMG direction of these - his use of sound. And this was particularly noticable in this ep. The use of silence and intrusive sounds. Made it feel distorted. I knew Starsk wasn't gonna die - yet the hospital scenes (ok, with the exception of perhaps the slowest reaction to cardiac arrest ever!) were again, so intense. And when Hutch ran through the doors - THAT's when Starsky's heart started again. I LOVED Hutch in the lift with Huggy "Starsky's going to die", I loved the lazy way Starsky looked at him when he came round (and yes the music was cheesy, and giddy hutch a little ott, but still just "AW"). And with the computer print out thing, Starsky had just so much love. And he looks under those lids and . I loved the stillness of Gunther, the slow reptilian aura he had, and again with the use of silence. And of course the tag with the four of them. Them in bed, and Starsky covering Hutch's mouth, and the laughing and joy.



Its over now... :(

(Well apart from a lifetimes worth of fic, and a massive back catalogue, and watching em all over again and...
