One of those days at work today - planned to be home by 6 - crisis meant I eventually left work at 7.40. Pah.
This meant the shopping delivery guy phoning me to ask where I was (I'd kinda forgotton I'd ordered the groceries, he was very sweet though, and came back to mine at the end of the round even though I'd missed my purchased time slot. He introduced himself each time he 'phoned as 'Gary' - I therefore assumed he would be a younger man, and was suprised to see a chap clearly mid 40s, I love how names go in cycles.
PMG wasn't on CBB and I'm still skipping with glee and relief
Torchwood - was very good. I've not seen any of the other episodes, but the final pair were jolly spiffing - in that wonderful extreme fun way that Dr.Who personifies. It means you can overlook some of the ridiculous points in the story, just to enjoy the ride. Plus, bits of it were *very* good. I watched it again tonight whilst eating my chemical filled macaroni cheese, and although I might have fast forwarded through chunks of it; (the first episode maintained my interest throughout, the second I sped through the Ianto and Owen stuff. I dislike the way Owen looks.) the same bits still moved me.
My SH collage poster arrived and I love it
I narrowly missed getting a speeding ticket twice in two days - yesterday, knowing one of the 'hideouts' I spotted the gun just before I put my foot down. Today I was zooming along and a generous driver flashed me hectically, enabling me to cut my speed back to appropriate levels by the time I reached the guns. I love the bizarre camaraderie of the road! (will drive very legally tomorrow - things in threes and all that!)
I'm going to a pantomime tomorrow! It is Cinderella and has somebody from Coronation Street in it. My friend has booked the seats and knows all about it. I haven't been to a panto since I was around 10. How odd. We are going to have fish and chips beforehand - I am slightly more excited about this than the panto.
I bought 8 zines from eBay. 8! I am keen for them to arrive!
That's all
