Richard Hammond has had a bad accident and is critically ill. I appear to feel quite sad about this.
My cat has a big nasty hole in her leg, as if something has torn the skin back. I have just seen this tonight. It lloks so sore, and is clearly new and fresh and it made me cry, 'cos it looks like it hurts her. Vet first thing tomorrow for her.
Also. First episode of season 3 - incredibly strange and rubbish voodoo plot on sunshiny island. ludicrous - but so slashy in a different way - there were things that in another show would have me squealing because 'eee slashy' but in SH it's not needed. That doesn't make sense. SH is all about the love of the two guys, it's text not subtext. the friendshiop and love is clear and spelled out. This episode seemed to have the sly fun touches that other shows would have to denote slashiness - ie S&H undercover as Night & Day, with Hutch (Day) singing how 'He'll pick Night', then there's the voodoo dolls that the chief voodoo man(yeah, ok, so I wasn't paying attention to the terminology!) kept binding together (you know, like you did with your dolls when you were little...)!
All this on top of the normal freedom of touch and caress - oh and the cigarette in the shorts...!
As well as that of course, there was the fact that Starsky wore omg the tightest shorts (plaid, slinking to his thighs like, well heaven), closely followed by what looked like skintight capri pants and court shoes (which after getting sopping wet he reclined against a tree in) and then as if I wasn't *ded* already, wore the shortest cropped denim number, in which he wrestled with Hutch, sitting astride him.
