(no subject)

Well I started giftwrapping. I had the table out, a ton of sellotape ready cut into strips arrayed alongside me, rolls of paper to hand. I normally get very fed up half way through, so decided today I would just wrap, and then another day I can put the labels, bows and ribbons on. I put on my Ratpack Christmas music and got to work.

I did well really - but after the Ratpack cd ran through a cple of times I put on a new Johnny Cash Xmas - impulse buy yesterday 'cos I thought it would be droll -bad mistake - Gosh that man is depressing. Did he not know Xmas is supposd to be a joyous occassion?

After I heard that I'd had enuff! So 38 gifts wrapped, probably 20 to go. (plus the cple I still have to buy! - and all of 'em still to label and prettify) - and I've decided that next year? I don't care if it *is* Christmas, if it's not square I'm not buying it! - bloody star shaped boxes of biscuits! (for elderly rellies) Bah Humbug indeed.

I had a mini plot bunny whilst in the shower (no, it's not rude don't fear! - not that I have *any* problems with rude, I just don't think it's something I could write!) but no time to do anything with it, and after Xmas it will be too late (ahh, say the detectives, a festive plot bunny!)

And as I've been wrapping I haven't cooked, so I will go and look in the cupboard and decide between beans on toast, or cheese roll...
