I really forgot how nice it is to be read to (esp by David Soul!), It helped that bits of it were in first person and that Davey is so good - I had goose bumps at points.
Now I have The Closers left - but I can't listen to cds in the car - bah, the journey to work will become dull again.
LoM was rather sparkly good tonight, and helped distract me from The Shield starting again and me not being able to watch it! Any one found it anywhere? I will hunt around tomorrow...
I am all itchy allergy rash on my fingers - dunno what I'm allergic to though. Oh and somebody broke my cd player at work - I kind of accuse the cleaner, 'cos it was working when I went home last night and isn't this morning. Or it could just be 'cos it's old and crappy and was about to die anyway. This post is less than structured. I do apologise.
One of my offenders looked like a stereotype death row bod - starting with his physical appearance right on down to wearing bright orange and having a big chain dangling looking like shackles of some kind. I met him for the first time today. I had no file on him and thought he was a drink driver - after I saw him in the isolated room at the end of the corridor I found out he has a raft of pre cons - including manslaughter, abduction, and sexual offences. Hmmm. Not that I wouldn't have seen him, but it's nice to have all the information so that I can assess risk and plan sessions accordingly.
wrote something today - need to see if it works. Think my brain is still wonky.
