If you follow the pattern as it is, the jumper comes out with the right texture, but big enough for both dolls to sleep in. Mum tried it on needles two sizes too small, and it comes out very firm - and still far too big. We're gonna try cutting down on number of stitches and reducing the pattern overall next - but thought I'd offer up the pattern if any other talented knitters out there want to have a go!
