Last night when I couldn't sleep I tried to think of 33 things.

33 men I fancied, 33 women, 33 foods I liked etc. I got onto the men and kept losing track of names and numbers - ie by that point I was close to dodging off. I'd bee awake so very long however that I was becoming obsessive - so ended up writing them into my mobile phone! Which bright light and moderate concentration meant I woke up again - but at least the obsessive anger was resolved!

I was in bed by 8.30 yesterday, which could explain the insomnia at 2am, but I had such bad p.pains that I could think of nothin else to do but go to bed, cuddle a hot water bottle and think of 33s.

At work there's a 'Health and Safety' purge around home visits - they are going to great pains, with finance driven targets and monhly audits etc, to ensure that when we go on a home visit we note down the details of when and where we are going, and more importantly a time to be back/call in. We write all this in a formal book and tell a 'designated person'. If we put it in the book, we're safe and all's right with the world.

Yesterday I went on a home visit - the appointment took much longer than anticipated. If we don't call in on time the designated person is supposed to telephone, and if no response advise Seniors and Police etc. I was 45 minutes late getting out. 45 minutes. I'd been to see a sex offender in a small seaside village - and yet no one even registered that I was 'off radar' let alone called to ensure my well being. Yet this would count as a 'pass' target met to the H&S people because I put my details in the book. Pissed me off.
