* Thank you
enednoviel for my vgifts, snowflakes and hugs, always welcome. (Well, real hugs always welcome and virtual snowflakes, I'm not as fond of the real things!)
* More knitting. Occupies mind and fingers which is a god thing.
* Emptied the things from Dad's car today. Found the sweets that brother swore he took to the funeral home (Mum wanted Dad to have them in with him), so I'm a little cross about that. And generally picqued that he a) left the lights on when he used it last, so the battery is flat and b) still hasn't gotten round to puttng it up for sale as he's effectively costing Mum money in insurance etc all the time he delays.
* I'm in a general grump today anyway. Last night we were worken at 4am by a phonecall. Couple of rings then it cut off. We attempted to return the call (from my Aunt) but she rejected the call twice. Turns out her partner was having an asthma attack so she was attempting to call the doctor. Given recent events I can understand that stress and panic can lead you to press a wrong number. However, doc came out in the night and pronounced said partner fine and just to rest etc, and yet she couldn't find the time to call, or even respond to texts to explain all was well and apologise for freaking us out and upsetting Mum. Mum finally got through to her at 2pm. (I have less patience and understanding than otherwise with this particular Auntie, at the funeral she spent time telling Mum how bad she was going to feel for the rest of her life and saying "It's happened to me twice" (so much so that her own son told her "It's not a game of top trumps Mother!") Grr. I'm like a lioness at the moment, protecting my Mother!)
*It's very cold.
*My Dad's friend put a very nice message and photo in the paper. He and Dad's other friend are taking Mother out to lunch each week. That's good.
*I have received Christmas cards of loveliness from various people. Thank you kindly ♥
