Sunshine on my shoulders
Mar. 11th, 2012 10:48 pmA beautiful day today, bright sunshine and clear skies. So warm and fresh and lifting.
I took Mum out and we drove around Norfolk, wafting through places we visited with Dad, memories; happy memories. It was lovely, easy and relaxed, we had no mission, no goal, just took country lanes to see where they'd come out. Happy when we recognised places and could reminisce. It's been a warm day, literally and figuratively.
And then, heading home, we stopped off at The Waterside, Rollesby (http://www.thewatersiderollesby.co.uk/photo-gallery) and sat out on the terrace, sharing a sandwich (then having a dessert each!) for a couple of hours. Watching the water, the boats and wildlife go by. It was so peaceful and relaxing and I feel revived.
