Oh I'd quite like that. The fantasy thing. Vic broken and weak and Shane could look after him, and Vic would look up every so often and see him and just quietly ask 'Is it ok?' and Shane would stand over him and tell him yes, yes, it's ok and he'd touch Vic gently on the shoulder when he really wants to cup his face and hold him. But he knows he can't so he'd just softly touch him and and tell him yes, and that Lem was just round the corner, then vic would go back into his head and they'd all be there together, and Lem would always be backlit by the sun, and they'd sit in their little room of happiness, and they'd just be laughing and talking.
If this cannot happen, then very much they should die. Because, well mainly it is inevitable. And Vic cannot do prison or loss. It does hurt muchly, and cramp is exactly the natural reaction.
How can you love Dutch? Even without the cat thing he is scary. Do you trust him? Or do you think he is untrustworthy but love him anyway? I could understand that. He is just.. wrong and scary.
