So I thought about what everyone had said, and what I already knew and spoke to my boss.

Due to an officer being off sick my boss had to see creepy guy for me (either that or make creepy guy wait an hour for his appt) - boss said he'd see him, and asked for a next appt for me - so I said I didn't want to see him again. Ever. Said it wasn't worth the way he made me feel and I didn't want to work with hm anymore.

Boss thought I was joking at first, but when I walked ot o fthe office saying, "So you'll need to reallocate him." He realised I wasn't.

- Later boss came to me and said that we would need to work out what we were going to tell the offender as to why he was having a new officer as "We can't just say you think he's creepy."

I nearly lost my temper, but stuck with the 'humourous' approach which is all boss seems to understand - so I slammed my fist on my table and 'shouted' "Don't dis my practise". - But then I made sure he realised that I didn't 'just think he was creepy'. I pointed out again the huge boundary issues and safety issues that were in place and the way I had been left feeling.

As expected Boss responded only to the humourous bit, and backed out of my office quickly - but then he sent

Hi C

When you read this I will be in Dubia enjoy the golf courses and the beer

However Lola has a chap that on licence that has become difficult due to her gender - I need to transfer him to a male officer who will challenge and not get drawn into his thinking and beliefs - and you are the man for the job

C, this man has been inappropriate, Lola has been forceful in her interviews - but i think its fair to say he does not recognise any boundaries

Can you discuss the case with Lola - his next appointment is Thursday 25th Sept at 2pm - if you are available thats great - but I am around to see him if not - and Lola is happy to do a hand over appointment

Lastly he has become a little possessive of Lola - he did not like other officers seeing him when she was on leave, so we need to tell him a reason for the transfer maybe that 1) Lola no longer holds licences or 2) has a different role now - do not mind what it is but he needs to know quickly that he will have a new probation officer

Of there are any issues than I am happy to see him on Thursday and then give another appointment to get the transfer resolved.

Can I ask that you both get together and discuss Mr x to see what I have suggested above is a viable option

So some of it seems to have penetrated his skull, even if he's useless at dealing with it.

Needles to say I shall put C right as to the whole details of this chap.

It feels better not to have him, but I still feel that I've let myself down - but like I said in my last post, the way this has dragged on it's inevitable.

I'm also a little annoyed that we have to lie to the chap rather than pointing out that it's his own fault, but I suppose it makes it easier for when we bump into each other around the building in future.

Anyway: Progress of sorts!
