I think that's a fair complaint. You have to spend most of your life at work, so you should feel comfortable at least. Facing a wall is ludicrous. I thought that would be common sense when it came to office planning. Sitting with your back to the room is really crap, at the very least they should turn your desk around so you face into the room.
