It's how I always get things done - the moving messes from one room to another is exactly my technique too!
Today was similar, in that I've been to the tip, taken mother to buy a new garden seat, driven for 45 minutes to get to a specific restaurant that didn't have anything on the menu we liked when we got there, gone elsewhere for a meal, come home and then built the garden thing from yesterday.
