I am drinking quite nasty wine. It was £8 a bottle (I only paid $4. I accept that this might reveal my inner cheapness, but I expect £8 a bottle wine to be, well, nice! It is quite quite sour.
If that statement above hasn't revealed my cheapness, the next will: I intend to drink it nonetheless.
I watched a film tonight.. hang on, need to imdb to find the title... Where The Truth Lies.. Colin Firth and Kevin Bacon. hmph. I hate films when I don't really know if I liked it. It was. No, actually I've decided. I didn't like it. It felt 2 dimensional. The main female character seemed insipid to watch, and entirely reactionary, dependent on the whims of, well, just about all the other characters. Although I didn't guess every bit of the 'big reveal', I got enough of it for it all to feel a little tired. Oh, and the movie was sold on the basis of omg the threesome -and well. (and now not only do I prove that I'm cheap, I'm also shallow) that scene was rubbish. Looked as if it had been cut to within an inch of its life, and was as cold and undaring as it's perhaps possible to be. Kevin Bacon was his usual superb self however.
now what?
