All my groceries arrived - it was like magic. Today, I have eaten proper food. I wonder if there is a link? The man who delivered them took especial care to explain things to me - things like "If there are extra things in there that you haven't paid for *whisper* keep them.." This internet shopping is really complicated isn't it..

I wore a shirt for the first time today and totally ripped the arm off when I got it caught on the door handle! I had decided I didn't like it though, so now at least I don't have to feel guilty about not wearing it!



I have only two episodes left to watch. I watched a few over the weekend, and whilst the subject matter remains darker, the atmosphere and the interaction had lightened up, the boys were 'back'. Today I watched the 'Targets without a badge' episodes and there were some lovely moments of trust between them (not to mention the moment in the porn cinema...) But now I have 'Starsky v Hutch' to watch and 'Sweet Revenge' - and I'm scared! I'm so invested in this, and know that the next episode is awful! And even if it's awful because it's bad, or because of the woe or , oh I don't know. And plus of course, it doesn't matter even if I had the best ever episode remaining, It will still be the last one.
No one warned me about this (are you listening kimberlyfdr!) when they got me HOOKED on the boys. How will I cope? Seriously I'm not kidding!

Today a lady who lives opposite me knocked on my door to warn me there was a dead cat under my car. It had obviously been hit by a car and crawled under mine to die, so sad. It was the pretty little ginger cat who lived a few doors up. I told this neighbour where it lived, and then chickened out whilst she went and told the owners - I came and hunted down my cats instead. So sad.

OH GOD, you are so near the end and dude and oh. And Starsky in a suit kicking that can around the road in the triple one is SO MY FAVOURITE BIT OF FILM EVER just at the moment because OH GOD HE IS DIVINE and I am sure people warned you, but probably maybe you will be okay because tehre will be fic and I hope you will be okay and yes and hm and oh and dude. Um. Yes.

:( for the cat, that's very sad indeed.

And I think the last two episodes are LOVE and it will be okay. Yes.

NOBODY warned me in any way possible for me to believe that Starsky was the most perfect beautifully perfectly beautiful thing in the world ever. Except maybe you. BUT not possible to believe it until he has eaten your eyes and made you love him so to die.
Starsky in a suit is lovely, and he smiles so just right, and in the cinema he kept rubbing his arm, and Hutch said he was good looking and Starsky just smiled with perfection.
And Hutch was blown up (again) and Starsky ran and cuddled him, and so gentle. and oh.

Targets has to be my absolute favorite set of episodes from the 4th season, maybe even from the entire series (except perhaps Pariah, which is also my favorite....oh boy, now I'm thinking of other favorites and working myself into a hole here).

I wouldn't worry about hating SvH. Just watch it for what it is and move on. Kind of like Dandruff, which I hate (sorry Kimberly), which I watch for what it is, then move on.

I was lying in bed last night trying to think of favourites, and gave up after coming up with about 5 or 6 in the first 5 minutes!

I guess I need to watch a few (dozen!) more times to truly make a decision!

Wait, you're watching S vs H AFTER Targets? It's supposed to come before. At some point in the future, when you're re-watching, watch S4 in chronological order and you might get a different take on it. One of the reasons I loved S4 is that Paul and David had more control so they actually built in an arc that is so vivid. I love it so much.

I'm watching in the order they are on the dvd... (and on Black Bean Soup ep guide., thouhg being aware of the gist of the stories, it makes sense that Targets without a badge would be followed by Sweet Revenge)

I'm not hating Season 4, it seemedto stumble at the beginning, but the last eps I have watched have been 'right'. And the TWB story worked so very well across the arc.

now psyching myself up for the last two...
