Well - I went to bed very angsty and agitated and lay awake forever again - finally decided at 3am that I would not go to work today, slept a little better then - but dreamt all night about calling in sick and needing to rearrange my diary. tch. In the end I was up at 7.30 to email instructions to G - called in sick at 9, then slept till almost 2.

then.. well.

This is my Jerry Springer Mooooomeennnnnnt! I sat and watched JS the Opera, and guffawed my way through the afternoon! - then, being ona roll I watched The Disappearance of Flight 412. Hmm. Well it was, it was ok actually. DS was a bit beardy which was cute, and erm. Well it was quite earnest...

I was looking at Phobia! on eBay and the vendor wants almost $90 for it! - also on eBay, I am the winning bidder on a magazine I've already won but had forgotten about! fingers crossed someone snipes me in the last minutes!

P has completely 'forgotten' any woe from Sat night and I don't have the energy to bring it up, so meh.

My brother is buying me a ticket to go and see Derek Acorah for a bday present? It should be funny and a laugh, but not sure why he thought of it? strange!

Did you enjoy the opera?:)

I watched The Disappearance of Flight 412.

That's a movie I own, watched once, and will probably sell it once I manage to remember to bring it up from the living room.

Dang, who knew what riches I had! I sold mine almost immediately after watching it. Sorry, just didn't do it for me...at all.

Actually I did, (though disappointed at the lack of actual singing from Davey) - It appealed to my sense of humour (plus, having lived through the incredible uproar at the time when they televised it on The Beeb, I was amused at the thought of all the 'outraged' complaints!). Loved Steve the Bodyguard, and Davey was Davey.

That's a movie I own, watched once, and will probably sell Hmm yes, It's not one I imagine myself watching again somehow!

I sold mine almost immediately after watching it.
Argh! It's just so hard to find PMG on film! Ah well, I have Fiddler to watch - maybe I'll have another afternoon convalescent on the sofa and watch that tomorrow!

I loved the Opera because it was not as you'd expect it. It was actually showing a deeper meaning in putting the mirror to society and showing that what we condemn is also what we embrace. Very interesting presentation.

As for PMG, I still have the 4 hour miniseries Never Let Her Go on the TiVo since it just re-ran this past weekend. I'm trying to decide if I wanna run copies for postage again. He's starting to show up more on TV than David even, which is weird.

Well no pressure, but think of me if you do. I can pay in postage - or chocolate! ;)

If you can play NTSC tapes, I'd be happy to run it for you. I just set it to record at night before I go to bed and it's done by the morning:)

I'm buying NTSC tapes on eBay at the moment, with the understanding that if I can't watch them there's a conversion thingI can get for £16 that will solve the problem... 'Rage' is en route to me as we speak!

I would appreciate you doing this for me - if you want cash I can paypal you whatever it takes, if you wanna 'nother chocolate box then let me know that too!

Email me your address and I'll send it off when I go to the post office Friday.

And I'd much rather have UK chocolate as payment:) Mmm, chocolate.

Hi
Thanks for that - I have emailed you my address directly.

Will hunt down some Choc as soon as I am recuperated! - yes I know, sitting on the internets at 1am may not seem like the behaviour of an ill person, but I'm practically nocturnal by nature anyway.

Bed now though !

I love the JS opera. The best part is the singing, dancing Klansmen. And Satan. And David, of course!

oh yes, the Klansmen! I did like Steve (and the teeny slashy moment at the demise of Jerry), the Devil was funny. I loved the mirroring of the first half scenarios with the second - ie Adam'n'Eve matching the redneck and thepole dancer etc. Very funny. Very Clever, And yes, 'And David!'
