Dreamt last night that I had a tumour - in my arm, which I tried to cut out by myself. I sliced my arm open, and there it was, bright red and pusling - but I didn't dare remove it in case it wasn't the tumour but was something else. In the end the whole healed by itself. The non treatment of this lead to heart palpitations - all night, My heart kept fluttering and I was panting - I know it was a dream, but felt so very real. This was the undertone for the rest of my dreams, when I was in the attic looking at old toys, and when I was at work - all the while this inability to breath. And everyone knew I was dying and were trying to pretend I wasn't. At one point I had to drive along the motorway and as I was doing so I went blind. Although everything was white and opaque as opposed to dark. I was speeding along and could see only shadows. It was terrifying.

I did not wake rested!

Today: I went to see Mum. My ex sister in law (M) was there with my nephew. We spent some time all testing our blood sugar with Mum's finger pricking machine. Mine was 5.4 which is ok apparantly. It was really good to see M again, has been a while.

Rufus stayed overnight! Which sounds more exciting than it is if you haven't remembered that Rufus is my new cat - who stayed in all night and all day for the first time!

Erm. And I've lost the draft of a fic I *know* I wrote...
