Dad has been round today - he helped me with the light bulb, fiasco, took me to the timber yard to get some wood cut, I mended his internet connection for him, then brought him back to print off some photos for him.
On the wall in my room of fabulous, frivolous fandom (!) I have ( this picture ) - Dad comes in, peers around, makes disapproving noises in general then asks "Is that Starsky & Hutch now?" I mean I ask you!
Have been for a meal round K's - she's snuffly with cold, so we just had takeaway - am now so stuffed I can barely move. Was nice though!
On the way there I walked past a crowd of around ten 12-17 year olds - they were smashing a telephone box on the other side of the (dark and rather isolated) road - and I didn't dare say anything, just kept my head down and scurried past. That's shameful. I didn't even dare get my phone out to call the police. It really does feel horrendously cowardly.
