If this was the set up for a fic it would be dismissed as farfetched and ridiculous and cliche and all the other bad things...
It's the NAPO AGM in October and today we received this memo..
"XXX Branch has booked 9 rooms at YYY Hotel, Llandudno. Due to the distance from XXX, it has been agreed that accommodation will be provided for three nights (Thurs, Fri & Sat) to ensure members can attend the opening speeches of conference at midday on Friday.
The rooms are double with single occupancy (double beds) and spaces are limited. To reserve a place, please return the form below stating if you are prepared to share and who with. I will attempt to accommodate people’s needs and requests but ask for an early reply. In the event of demand exceeding availability, decisions will be made on a first come served basis. Unfortunately the hotel can only provide double beds which may put some people off sharing a room but accommodation is at a premium this year and it’s the best we can do. If you have a colleague who is attending, please try and share as it will cut down branch costs. It would also help in accommodating everyone who wishes to attend."
