Rereads

The Man Without a Face - Isabelle Holland - this is my comfort book/reread and willhave been read several times over the year
The Starsky & Hutch Novelisations 1 - 8
Night Watch
Men at Arms
Feet of Clay
Jingo
Going Postal - All Terry Pratchett
Harry Potter 1 - 6 (in preperation for 7!)
One Fine Day in the Middle of the Night
Be my Enemy
Country of the Blind
A Big Boy Done it and Run away - All Christopher Brookmyre
Dead Run
Live Bait
Want to Play?
Snow Blind - All P J Tracy
(plus - 18 Enid Blyton books - I revert to these in times of crisis, because they allow me to shut my brain down - that 18 represents a difficult 2 weeks when I was quite a bit broken)

So 20 completely new, 46 altogether including rereads, and 64 including Enid Blyton! In addition I listened to several Audio Books in the car.

My Dad will never reread a book either (although he takes forever to read anything!)

I love rereading things though, books become comfy, safe things and I like to read them again, I like to get to favourite bits and carry the images with me. Sometimes I will finish a book and turn straight back to the beginning again and start over.

Sometimes I'll just reread a specific chapter or section, because that's the image that I crave there and then (those didn't make it on to my list btw!)

Probably the fact I read so much delays me on writing, but it's also a relaxation and I need to read before bed to wind down.

I have the Time Traveller's Wife, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I'm working my way through Michael Connelly. The Last HP - maybe not the best, but I like a resolution to things!
