Oh my fucking god. omg omfg lih/wlo/;FKIH;NKHKJHFKZSMBCZXNB

THERE IS NOT ENOUGH KEYBOARD MASH IN THE WORLD A AND i KNEW IT WAS COMING

Omg

That episode - the quickest 4o minutres ever. Followed by the worst 2 minutes. Ow that hurt. That hurt so. damn. good.

The moment - hearing Dean's voice across the night, and Sam's head turned, so hopeful, so happy, so reassured. And even if I didn't know, I'd have known at that point, and oh my. Utter perfection. He held him in the mud and oh the talking. the talking was so beautiful and he couldn't make it all alright, not this time. Oh. That so sorrowful "Sam" - such a hollow contrast to the hope of moments before.

Dear God.

(And also, as a slightly calmer aside:
When my radio goes staticcy now - I get scared. Perfect little nothing moment to start this ep - extra onions and pie.
Andy? I mourn for little Andy - a man with psychic ability that he uses to spread gay pron? The man was a hero. When I was watching this episode I had a pen and paper handy and at one point I wrote 'keymash' as my reaction. SPN Thunderdome? Roadhouse go boom! - poor Ash - was that really him or did that cowboy steal his watch? Did the demon show them all their origin story'? Sam is so naive - yet when he held the metal bar and was poised on killing the soldier (Jake?) I actually yelled 'no' at the screen - even though I knew what would happen if he didn't. Dean seeing visions and Bobby. Other generation? Other generations? Bobby better not turn bad... Okay. I did say only slightly calmer. I watched the last 3 minutes 3 times. Now I've written this and can breath, I'm going to brave the next episode...)

::hugs you:: OH. It was very good yes. Very good.
But not as good as the next episode, I think. I really love the season finale.
::dances you::

Oh yes, the next episode was very as well.
As you may have seen by my similarly retsrained reaction.

I think it spoilt me a little ( in the old sense of the word!) 'cos I have seen 3 eps of series 3 and haven't been squealing quite so very much, but that is a small price to pay for the glory that was these two episodes.

:loves you:

OH GOD I love Dean, I love Bobby wanting to hit him and wanting to hug him and I love them I lvoe them so much, and then Ellen comes and hugs him too and and and OH GOD I love the end of season two, I love it love it.

Personally I'm not loving season three, it has disappointed me and made me sad. There are a couple of episodes in there I really *love* but yes. Mostly it's all a bit worrying in my head, and has been so lovely reading you talking about how great the early episodes were because OH GOD THEY WERE.

hee, I remember when I watched this. I cried copiously and unashamedly.

Oh, and would now be good time to pimp [livejournal.com profile] anywhere_road where Andy and Ash are alive and having adventures (and some hot sex) *gg*
