I just love how a cat like Rufus, all battered and scarred, can find someone to give him a loving, comfortable, safe home. it gives me hope that if Archie is still out there, maybe he's found someone else to love him, too.
Rufus was in a terrible state when I found him, but he moved in and decided he had a new home now thank you very much and please to be looking after me.
Albert is the only cat we ever actively 'got', and even then it was only 'cos Phoebe was pregnant when we rescued her and he was born on my bed at 5am May 1st 1999 (not to be overly precise or anything!).
All our cats have been rescued in some form or another - and I figure that there are plenty of folk llike us out there who will take the lost souls in and give them a good home.
