Today?
I wore proper shoes to work (I'm known for wearing flip flops/sandals far out of season).
These were proper, closed in, comfy but smart shoes.
50% of them matched my outfit.
50% of them didn't.
0% of them matched the other.

Actually, I was wearing an anke length skirt (which partially explains how I made the mistake in the first place!), so I tended to stand with one foot (the black clad one) visible and poking beneath skirt and the other (brown) at an angle!!
