Today I drove for 4.5hours in the tank to get to the prison. The man with whom I booked my visit 4 weeks ago - LEFT the prison 3 weeks ago. He did not pass on his booking. Nor did he actually book it. I waited one and a quarter hours in a dingy room, making small talk with a prison officer, to finally get to see the offender for a whole 25mins.

THEN I sat on the A50 for 1.5hours stationary. They closed the M1 and I was detoured via Long Eaton and a tiny village at rush hour (with teh rest of the traffic from the M1) It took me 6.5 hours to get home. And all I've had to eat is a bacon sandwich at 10 this morning. RARGH!

{{HUGS}} Good gracious! RARGH indeed. You deserve some pampering and a special treat of some kind to make up for all that work-and-traffic stress. I hope today treats you much better and that you were able to get some rest last night. :) Take care of yourself.

Thank you - I have a holiday to look forward to from Friday onwards, I just need to make sure I get there! I've got about 3 weeks' worth of work to get through before then - but once Friday comes I'm off to Scotland for a week of relaxation!
