I finally have a date for my op!

So, I'm getting sliced and diced on 8th March. Ulp!

I get admitted on the 7th, with the op on the morning of the 8th. I'm relieved to finally have a date and it fits in with M&D, who will be cat feeding and caring for me upon release. It also means I gett o go and see Les Mis on the 5th, as I'd been worrying the dates would clash.

Practicalities at work are now getting sorted -I'm in Swindon next week, then have 2 weeks at work to sort out everything before leaving. A week's annual leave before hand - to try and psyche myself up and then - woosh, it's all go.

I'm focussing entirely upon the practicalities at the moment, 'cos I feel somewhat queer when I think outside that very structured box. I imagine my wibbles will become much more wobbly as time progresses.

And I'm sorry you have to be in Swindon. Though that's only up the road from ME! Sort of.

I'm off to Swindon tomorrow. The timetable for the training, is such that it looks as if I shan't see the outside of teh hotel otherthan leaving and arriving, which will make it seem more like a priosn than Swindon!

There's not much to see in Swindon, except for the Railway museum and I forget what that's like.
