This little fellow has moved in to my Mum's house.

He arrived last Monday evening - just walked in, looked suprised to se us and ran away again. The following morning he moved in properly. He now leaves for a couple of hours around midnight, then returns to stay, sleep, eat and play all day long. Mum's cat, who fights ferociously with the neighbourhood cats allows him to come in, shared food and plays tag with him.
The folks have asked around, checked local shops for notices etc but no one seems to want him/be missing him. He has huge Puss in Boots eyes and demands constant attention :)

Date: 2010-04-03 10:26 pm (UTC)Names - my Mum and Dad are singularly unimaginative when it comes to naming animals. I had a huge struggle to prevent them naming their current (black) cat "Blackie"(they went with Tommy in the end) - therefore this chap is now called "Ginger". (!)

Date: 2010-04-03 10:31 pm (UTC)Puss came to us at teh age of 19 years when the company whose warehouse she lived in changed hands and teh new management kicked her out.
Gizmo and Indie came to us from 3 doors down - their owners neglected them for months, then told us off for fussing them, then three weeks later knocked on teh door and said they were going to be put down unless we took them in.
Phoebe moved in when her owners dumped her when she was no longer a kitten - she huddled on our trellis for 48 hours straight trying to avoid the neighbourhood toms when she went into her first season, so we tok her in - she was pregnant so we then had her kittens, one of whom, Albert, I kept.
Rufus started to live in my back garden - with a nasty infected abcess and wounded head - I took him in.
Tommy moved in to my Mum's house - he was chipped when we checked- to a Leeds address! The vet couldn't get hold of teh owner though - and now this one!
Sorry, I realise youdidn't need to know all that but I jst started typing and couldn't stop!

Date: 2010-04-03 11:05 pm (UTC)Kind of reminds me of my great Aunt. I always remember her looking after lots of cats, but I don't think any of them were hers.
