So the new cabinet...

lolabobsThe beeb has little potted histories of them all.
Each profile gives a run down of previous role and achievements - so why is it that only the female cabinet members have little details such as "....an exotic taste in shoes" (Teresa May),
"A working class mum....who is marred with one daughter" (Baroness Warsi) and "In her spare time she keeps rare Buff Orpington and Black Rock hybrid hens" (Cheryl Gillan).
The nearest the males get to this additional detail is Patrick Mcloughlin who "followed his grandfather into the pits".
I can't decide if the Beeb has written these blurbs and are therefore responsible, or if they have lifted the spiels from the campaign guff of these people, which then makes me wonder why it is the females who feel the need to present themselves in this way.
