Got my meeting today with HR - and I've had a sleepless/dreamfilled night (if that makes sense) - basically I've been through returning to work several times already. In the end I got up before 7 as I couldn't face doing it again! So I'm functioning on less than 5 hours sleep and I'm cold, stressed and bleh.

I'm contemplating contacting my doctor to see if I can get another sick note or just using my holiday. Ugh, I don't know.

ETA: I did get another sick note and am signed off until the New Year now, which is good. Meetng went okay. I cried throughout, which I knew was inevitable, and then I escaped.

I sat in the car park for an age, then went in. Cried, which I knew was inevitable, then escaped.

Helped by the fact that I did phone my GP and get a new sick note!

Good - not good that it was upsetting, obv, but good that you got the sicknote and have continued freedom from work.

*hugs* I hope your meeting went okay. I think taking some more time off (hopefully with a sick note if you can get one) would be a good idea, at least until after Christmas maybe.

I survived it. I cried, which was inevitable, but she was very nice and reassuring. Plus I did get a new sick note, so that helped too.

I had a christmas present I bought for you last year and didn't get around to posting. Then I thought I'd send it to you for your birthday and I didn't do that either. Now it's this christmas and I still haven't sent it. You may one day get a random May 7th Present. x
