And in things unrelated to work and woe:

Let me try and do a post of positivity:
I finally got around to reading the instruction manual for my new sewing machine - and anticipate getting it out of the box today or tomorrow. It still looks magical with regards some of teh things it can do. I want, for instance, to make something covered in buttons, simply because it can sew on buttons and MAKE BUTTONHOLES COMPLETELY BY ITSELF!
I don't know how to make things that require buttonholes however, so I shall focus first on the cable bag I am making that needs a fabric lining. But I have buttonholes in potentia!

I'm late to the party, but I saw MIRANDA for the first time Thursday. So funny. Round a friends and I was literally laughing out loud, loudly out loud. I'm about 3 years late to this party - how good is that show?!
***
Other things of funny. The Big Bang Theory - I like it, but normally just pootle along, but Amy's reaction to her gift from Sheldon? I couldn't stop watching it.
***
Other things of fandom:
I made myself watch Supernatural. Not *those* episodes. I can't face that right now, but I picked up at the most recent ep (, the time travelly one. It was... It was okay. It felt okay to be watching it again, but I hadn't been pining for it in the meantime. I don't have anything to say about it really, other than having watched it. Dean's still very pretty.
H50 - I'm tryng to remember... oh Sang Min- he was back. I like him. That was good and y'know, I can't remember what else? Some stupid Subway ad with Kamekone and God, I honestly don't remember the plot? It must have been okay, 'cos I don't remember being hate filled... Oh. And now I remember. The Dad not dead after all thing. Probably why I blocked that out. Oh well. Danny was pretty
What I can remember (because I've watched it several times since it aired) is .
I don't think that I can put down words of sensibility. But Martin Freeman, oh God. The very first scene, with his therapist, where he couldn't speak? That's pretty much been me over teh last months and so hooked me in from the start. And the rest of it - God I love it. Moriarity with the Crown Jewels, Anytime Moriarity was on screen. He and Sherlock together... Kitty, Molly oh it was all so splendid.
Sherlock on the roof, the 'suicide'? I've read so many theories and suppositions and there are those I can get behind and I don't care. It was perfect. Watson's end of that phone conversation was so. God, and the whimpering, confusion and disbelief at the body. God. It broke me in a good way. Obviously I know the canon* and therefore knew it wouldn't be real, maybe that's why it was okay? Either way, I've been somewhat obsessed with it and watch, at least those scene every night.
*unlike the Daily Mail reporter who commented that "Until five minutes before the end of the second series on Sunday night, I’d have said it was the best programme on TV, but the final minutes were needlessly over-complicated and frankly annoying. And why make Sherlock fake his own death?"
