I'm finding Season 3 of White Collar

I'm on about episode 8 and it's hard - Aside from the whole Plundered loot = treasure thing, I can't bear Neal's betrayal of Peter. Side cons, yep, I could buy all that, all the things he did on his hunt for Kate, I could swallow that too - but I'm hating the planning to sell the loot and disappear.

I know that as teh season has progressed they've shown more and more of Neal's dilemma, and I appreciate that, and it's being done well and Matt Bomer does angsty very prettily, but...

It's all about the relationships, that's why I watch shows and it is killing me watching Neal flirt with throwing away what he and Peter have. I'm not even talking slash goggles, I'm talking about the trust that Peter has shown him, the relationship they've built up.

And I think the thing I hate most about it is, the first episode aside, when Neal was just Yay! Gold!, is that they're doing it well. It's kinda sorta believable and all I can think is how crushed Peter would be if he goes, how Neal would break his own heart if he goes.

I've just watched the episode where Neal breaks into Peter's home, where he's rifling through their safe, sitting on their bed and, yes, I was delighted when he told Mozzie they didn't have the manifest - but watching him break in hurt.

I need to be watching this the second time around, when I know that it's okay and he doesn't go and it's resolved without Peter or Neal or Elizabeth being hurt, because watching it this first time - is bloody killing me!!!
