So I've now officially achieved a week of tidiness, of washing up done every day and messes put away and woot. Go me.
Today I sorted out the shoe cupboard thing and threw away a sackful of dead shoes. (Well, put it in a sack to go the cat rescue who make money from dead shoes in some way.) I also went through my pile of bought Christmas presents, took price tags off and sorted them into recipient piles so I could make sense of what gifts are still outstanding etc. Which felt quite productive actually.
I also realised that since I gave in and bought a cat litter tray last week I can now access the living room cupboard again - it's been out of action for a year or more. Logically I know that this means I could/should discard *everything* in there as I clearly haven't needed it. I doubt I can be that drastic, but I do plan to attack it the next free day I have. I need to improve my Ruthless. (This is being helped by my morbid dwelling on eventual death and the fact that when my cats finally eat my corpse, all my stuff will be just left. With rowdy council operatives or the like clearing out the joint and everything going to the tip. (It's lovely isn't it, I don't mind living alone in the slightest, being dead alone bothers me.)
Erm yes. Anyway. I peeked in my cupboard and saw several things that can go, so I shall do disposing/donating soon. In the meantime I added heaps of Christmas presents to the pile.
