Today has seen more of the same, but I made it into the garden for 10minutes today. Twice! (Once to put washing out, once to get it in. The excitement!

I took photos of two of my kitties. I'm still trying to learn the new camera and these were taken using the "Specially for pets setting". This doesn't explain why Rufus looks so distorted. Bruce was trying to look pretty though.

Thanks you - yes, I intend to snap them all. Cats are so photogenic and a new camera is the perfect excuse for yet more kitty pictures.

Oh my gosh, how beautiful <3 We can't have cats for two reasons. 1) mum's allergic to them and 2) my dog tries to eat them (I'm not even kidding).

But they're so pwetty :)

Oh dear. I can't imagine living in a house without cats (although it would, it's true, be a lot less hairy and a lot less hassle!)

When I was very small, I was walking my Granddad's dog Shandy. Well, I was with my Granddad but I was being allowed to hold the lead as she was so well behaved...

Until she saw a cat and took off after it, with me dragging along behind...

I've been less fond of dogs since!

What a gorgeous cat Bruce is! I have a soft spot for snappily-dressed black and white cats like my dear departed Cliff. As for Rufus, I'm sure he looks nice when he's wearing legs that are big enough for his head... :P

Bruce is a very handsome cat. I too have a proper soft spot for tuxedo cats, they just look right. And Bruce is a real softy too.

Albert, who I am to get on here soon, is a grey tabby and he is very handsome too.

(I'm a bit cat deprived now, and missing Fielding. I met a battered old tabby tomcat today and someone had cut short the whiskers on one side of his face and it made me want to go on a minor violence spree. Which I didn't. But still.)

God yes, mistreating animals is guaranteed fury from me. I think I've said it before, but animal cruelty is the one category of offender that I refuse to work with.

You have my sympathy for being currently catless, it's a strange absence to adjust to.
