am getting ready to go out - getting ready to go out is always difficult, because clothes are just impossible and ug. we nearly went in fancy dress, because believe it or not, that its much easier. but we had our minds changed ( by people who 'or not' that its much easier) so, to simplify things as much as possible we said 'theme'. this boils down to denim and black. denim bottom black top. narrows the options, makes it easier...

so why am i sitting here surrounded by 8 different skirts and 9 differnet tops? that makes a lot of permutations, but the vodka makes that too hard to work out. i am being picked up in 30mins, need to have done hair and make up by then too, and have been driven back to the comfrot of lj, because its TOO HARD.

omg - on Tuesday I went out with a close girlfriend and I must have tried *everything* in my wardrobe on before deciding on something! it's impossible sometimes.

when we were at uni we went in fancy dress to the halloween dance, took weeks planning costumes (our flat went as the Adams Family), getting a hand to be Thing, etc. Then when we got on the coach we were the ONLY people who'd gone in fancy dress....

Not a bad night, I was dressed as Uncle Festa and still pulled!

we do fanci dress quite often - all home made, cos otherwise it's cheating. We've done punks, pirates, old ladies (that was fun, esp as my friend's Dad runs a coach company, so he 'borrowed' us a coach, so we pulled up at the restaurant in a full 53 seater coach ( there were only 9 of us), and everyone was giving doubletakes of ?) - cowgirls, 70's, black and white, 60's - it's just so nice to not be yourself and behave with complete abandon!!
(I would be worried about the person who fancied Uncle festa tho!!!)

Clothes are bad, but jeans and black I can do. It is hte best uniform ever. Possibly jeans and purple is better but sometimes purple is impossible to find. I hope you have a good time and that you were ready on time because you should be gone now yes hm.

I normally do ALL black, for posh evening going out, but this was the theme. I was on time, which is amazing, but I wore new shoes and have horrible bleeding blisters - we weren't sposed to walk anywhere..

I had vokda and now 9or soon0there will be cofffee and hotwater bottle and persuaders and bed. these are very good things. and I am not really even a little bit drunk because I went out with the wroing people qnd there was a little bit of atmosphere, and not even russabbott style badness. hmmmmmmmmm. but vodka is generally alkways very good
(exceopt when there is a LOT of vodka there is always vodkasquitz the next day. sorry for tmi, but there u go!)

i really only had vodka before i went, and some more when I was out! (maybe... lemme see... 3 b4 i went, 1 at restaurant and 2 dbles in the pub, that's not bad) - i'm now having coffee, I have coke at the ready and feel fine ( we did have a meal sdo twerent on an empty stomach)
wrong people - all actually very very nice people - just not necessaryoli the type of people what get on together well...
