So. First I thought I'd try and draw the Indian again to see if there was any improvement ( bearing in mind it couldn't really get worse!

Then at lunch today I tried to draw - I used a postcard Ihave on my wall as inspiration (ie there are no pretty, topless men wandering around in my office - though occasionally there are old, drunken topless men - but I wouldn't draw them, too busy trying to make them leave..) I folded the paper in four, and planned to draw it four times one after the other, again to see if there was any improvement.
My artist friend tells me to 'draw what I see' not 'what your brain tells you you ought to see', which kind of makes sense, and i think that has helped me a little. This lunchtime experiment however. well, i think they got worse instead of better
