lolabobswell after creeping out friend and foe alike with my deadheads yesterday, I decided to stick with the same theme - sortof. (although I tried drawing with a nice new soft pencil first, and it still came out pantsy and freaky.) but instead I went for a more stylised image.
I 'drew' myself drowning, wanting to focus in the main, on the darkness of the eyes and mouth, then I coloured it in and didn't think it looked too bad. Then I kinda got carried away, and sorta ruined it - I was trying to recreate an underwater icy look, I crumpled it, then screed chalk over it, so all the creases are picked out like crackles in the ice - this is clearer on the paper version.. it didn't really work though.
